RAMSGATE HIGH STREET TR 3665 SE ST. LAWRENCE (north-west side) 6/211 Tomb chest to Captain John Curling and group of 6 headstones about 15-20 metres east of Mausoleum GV II Tomb chest to Captain John Curling, d.1779. Grey marble and white stone. Weathered base with heavy corner piers, square with nailhead enriched arrisses. Moulded and inscribed top slab. South-facing panel inscribed: Tomb of John Curling with coat of Arms. Born 1710 Died 1779 Headstone about 10 metres north-west to Daniel, John, George and Joseph, the sons of Daniel and Ann Wood, d. before 1772. About 2 feet high with scalloped Rocaille head. Adjacent to the north the headstone to Daniel and Ann Wood, c.1784, about 3½ feet high with scrolled Rocaille head with cherub. The headstone has been reversed, the "front" face now inscribed to Hinds family. Headstone to William Fox d.1779. About 3 feet high with festooned sides to inscription panel and with scrolled cornice with Rocaille shoulders and gadrooned urn with palm fronds. Headstone to Henry White, d.1775. About 3 feet high with scrolled cornice, scalloped shoulders, shell keystone and winged cherub head in sunburst. Headstone to James Bullock, d.1770. About 2 feet high with Rocaille scrolled head with palm fronds. Headstone about 5 metres east-south-east of Curling tomb. Illegible name, d.1804. About 3 feet high with segmental head depicting military trophies.
