Cottages. C15/C16 origin with later alterations and additions. Timber framed,
part weatherboarded. Red pantile roof to left range and central gabled and
jettied crosswing, grey slate to right outshot. Left range with large red brick
chimney stack. External stack to right. One storey and attic with gabled
dormer to left range, 2 storeys to central and right ranges, these with a C20
small paned casement each to first floor. 1:2:1 various small paned ground
floor windows including an angled oriel below the jetty. Brackets to jetty.
Left boarded door with pentice board over. Other doors to right return. No. 49
still retains, though cut through, 2 arched doorways, probably to a former left
screens passage now demolished. Heavy timber frame partly visible.
