- II
House. C17 of possibly earlier origin, with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof of 2 levels. Red brick chimney stack to both levels. 2 storeys and cellar. 4 window range of C20 vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars. 6 panelled door, moulded flat canopy on brackets. Interior features include jowled storey posts. Side purlin roof-pegged at ridge with cambered collars to left range and cambered tie beam. Stop chamfered bridging joists. Inglenook fireplace now covered to left range. Stairs by chimney. Vertically boarded doors with ironmongery. Some re-used timber. C18 cast iron basket grate and raised lug fire surround in bedroom. Arched brace from storey post to brick chimney.
