House. Late C13 Hall.Late C15 early C16 right crosswing. C19 left crosswing. Timber framed and panel pargetted. Jettied crosswings to right and left. Red plain tiled roof. 3 red brick chimney stacks, left to right of 3, 2 and 4 moulded octagonal shafts respectively. 2 storeys. 1:4:1 window range to first floor. 1:3:1 range to ground floor of vari-light leaded casements including one original C17. Lean-to greenhouse to right. Central C20 gabled and plastered porch. Plank and muntin door. Entire central open hall structure with a 4 arm crownpost roof, 2 arms down braced, timbers heavily sooted. Original floored service end with hipped roof now oversailed. Right crosswing with stop chamfered 2 arm crown post. First floor bridging joist moulded with foliate stops. Service doors survive in original partition. RCHM 2. Moated site.
