Ollerbrook Farmhouse
II


Farmhouse. Dated 1770. Coursed rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings. Stone
slate roofs with stone gable end stacks and one ridge stack. Stone coped gables
with moulded kneelers. Angle quoins. Two storeys. Double range plan. South
elevation of three bays, plus a fourth bay set back to east. Central doorway with
moulded architrave with keystone and stone pediment on brackets. C19 panelled door
with glazed top part. Flanked on each side by 3-light square section flush mullion
windows. First floor has a central 2-light square section flush mullion window,
flanked on each side by similar 3-light windows. Windows have glazing bar sashes
and fixed lights. Right hand bay set back, with a 3-light square section flush
mullion window to first floor, with diamond lights. Rainwater head dated 1770.
North elevation with four 3-light windows. Reported to have a good staircase.
