II
Farmhouse, now dairy, and farmhouse adjoining. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Limewashed coursed rubble with quoins, boulder plinth and ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone and brick chimneys and stone gable copings. 2-storey, 4-bay house and lower 2-storey, 3-bay dairy (former farmhouse) on right.
Dairy has boarded door at left under wide, chamfered stone lintel; inserted door to right of centre under flat stone lintel; square boarded pitching door at eaves on first floor at right.
House adjoining at left has half-glazed door in first bay, and battened boarded door in third; late C19 sashes; flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills.
Steeply-pitched roof over dairy; low-pitched roof over house, with 3 ridge chimneys - brick at left end, and square stone stacks at ends of 3 right bays.
Interior of dairy shows rendered right part with inserted partition and underdrawn ceiling; chamfered large beam in left part with stepped stops; roof of 2 upper cruck trusses with stop-chamfered collars, spurs (missing on south), 2 levels of trenched purlins and massive collars at apex. Only right side-of first truss visible; second (east) shows W-shaped top of collar on west side, and triangle on east beneath abutting blades cut to receive ridge piece.
