GOUDHURST THE PLAIN TQ 7237-7337 (north side) 15/237 Stable/coach house 20.6.67 about 10 metres north of Vine Hotel GV II Stable block and coach house. C18. Red brick with the hung gables and plain tiled roof. Long elevation to courtyard (to south east) one storey and loft, with central boarded left door in gabled semi-dormer. Lunette window to left, with half-door, and 2 sets of carriage doors to right (that at end right a later insertion). Gable end (to street) with double carriage doors and casement window over. The rear elevation (to North Road) with high plinth, and chequered red and blue brickwork. Included for group value.
