Details
CRANBROOK HIGH STREET TQ 7736 SW & TQ 7735 NW (south side) 9/149 & 11/149 Nos 1-3 (incl) 11.12.79 Belle Vue Cottages) GV II Cottage row, now shops. C16, clad in C19. Timber framed with red brick clad- ding, and right and tile hung on first floor. Plain tiled roof with decorative barge boards and pendant, on gable at right end. 3 flat-headed dormers. 2 storeys and attics. Irregular 4 windows front, glazing bar sashes on first floor with 3 C20 shop fronts with fascia boards over. Half glazed doors inset in right hand end of each shop front. Interior: Substantial timber frame visible. Original diamond mullioned window survives at right end.
