3/15 The Old Parsonage
II
House. C17, early C18, C19. Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, the wing being rendered with a 1st floor band and a high plinth. Hipped tile roof. A timber-framed building, reclad in the early C18, when it was extended by a cross-wing at the east end, with C19 features and rear additions. Victorian casements. ½-glazed door beneath a tiled canopy, on brackets and posts. The north elevation (rear) has several projections, with painted brick walls in English bond, a tile-hung gable at the east side, and a ½-hipped gable at the west (with exposed framing), some old leaded casements and a ½-glazed door. The east end (cross-wing) has a central gable, with tapered stack, painted brick walls, with 1st floor band and high plinth, and a (C18) boarded door in a plain frame, within a tiled outshot.
