Cottage, Late C16, encased C18, altered C19, small C20 lean-to. Timber-frame with brick and coursed stone infill (where exposed) and encasing, tile hung gable, slate roof. Small single storey and attic, 3 bay and smoke bay timber-frame cottage with C20 lean-to at one end. Front has smoke bay with stack to right of centre. C19 plank door in solid frame in left of centre bay and right bay, with C19 2-light casements behind. Left bay has exposed frame in half and C20 window beside. C19 sloping brick pier to smoke bay. On roof above 2 left bays C19 2-light pent-roofed dormer. Large ridge stack above smoke bay. Inside much of frame exposed. Smoke bay has remains of smoke hood.
