BROUGHTON HIGH STREET (west side) SU 3032 11/5 The Greyhound Inn GV II Inn. Early C19. Colourwashed brick slate and old plain tile roof. 2 storey on raised plinth, 3 x 3 bay with 1. storey addition to left. Front has above 3 steps, 6-panel door, half-glazed and rectangular 5-light fanlight, doorcase has panelled reveal with plain hood on cut brackets. Each side canted hip-roofed bay with 16-pane sash in front. On 1st floor 3 small 16-pane sash. On right corner wrought iron sign bracket. Roof hipped with end stacks. Left addition blank with hipped roof and former on hip.
