Watermill, now two dwellings. 1728, mid C19, and late C20. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond, cambered arches to the openings. Slate roof. Rectangular structure of two storeys and two attic floors, south front of five openings. Two doorways at the 1st floor have been glazed, and above each is a hoist on brackets, with a casement to the front, boarded walls and gabled roof. Casement. Three plain doors at the ground-floor. The east gable has a wall monument with brick framework, including an arched top with a keystone, and a stone plaque inscribed ..."This building stands on a frame of large beech timber which was given by Sir Richard Mill Bart, in the memory of whose kindness this stone was placed here by T.C.K 1728". The machinery has been retained, in carrying out the conversion to dwellings. The roadway in front of the mill crosses the bridge above the race, which makes a wide brick arch opening onto the lower pool.
