SHEET GREEN 1. 1501 (North Side) SHEET Old Post Office. House adjoining the old Post Office. SU 7524 2/169 II 2. C16 house now as 2 dwellings. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Very high pitched, tiled roof with massive central chimney stack of narrow brick with several shafts and elaborate cornice. Plastered front. 1- and 3-light sash windows, two of early C19 and others later replacements. One small, later bay window at right, also projecting front extension containing mid-C19 door with diamond- patterned frame and small trellis porch, also General Post Office letterbox. At left a mid C19 door in older box frame under bracketed hood.
