II
Early C19, and later. Earlier C18 house of 2 storeys and attic, with modern additions, the main elevation being the north front of 2 storeys, 3 windows (once symmetrical, but with a plain flat roofed extension on the east side). Low-pitched hipped slate roof. Stucco walling with plain eaves fascia, penetrated by the moulded architraves of the upper windows. The ground-floor extends forward, with an entablature across the whole front, broken forward above the entrance, a Greek fret incised ornament at each side, and a plinth. The wide plain recess of the porch has detached plain columns, all the mouldings having a Greek style, the doorway is arched and contains an ornamental fanlight, above double doors, each of 3 panels. Sash windows, the first-floor of 9 panes, on the ground floor the wide windows are sashes, of 1O.15.1O panes.
