II
Formerly 2 cottages, and still with different elevations. C17, C18. Timber-framed building, with later claddings. One-storey and attic, irregular fenestration. The west side roof is tiled, the east side being thatched (and hipped), with a shafted stack at the junction; 2 gabled dormers and 2 eyebrow dormers, with cills at eaves level. The front (south) walling is in red brickwork Flemish bond, showing several alterations; the east side is tile-hung; at the rear the frame is exposed (with rendered infilling) in the upper part, the remaining walling being brickwork in Flemish bond, with 3 flint panels in the lower part of the east side gable. Casements, one sash, and a French door. Gabled brick porch with oval-arched opening, now filled with a window; rear entrances with plain boarded doors.
