Nether Oakhurst II
C16, C18, mid C19, and modern. A 3½-bay timber-framed house, with a small C18 extension at the south end, and a modern outshot at the north end; one-storey and attic, irregular fenestration. Tile roof, catslide to half of the rear, one dormer on the front and 3 at the rear, with gables having decorative bargeboards, and cills at eaves level. The bricknogged frame is exposed in the north gable and the upper part of the front, otherwise there is red brick walling in Flemish bond, some parts with blue headers, some cambered openings; south gable tile-hung. Casements. Plain front door, but the rear has an open timber-framed porch with ornamental bargeboards to the gable. One infilling brick is inscribed RSH 1715. The main framing is revealed within.
