House. 1901 by Ernest Newton. Red brick with red brick dressings, modicum of blue brick diapering. Plain tiled roofs. 2 storeys with tall brick end stack to left, brick stacks to rear at left and on slope of roof to right and stack with three diamond shafts rising through eaves in centre, decorated with blue brick diaper-work on side of stack as it rises through the eaves. Projecting gabled cross-wings to left and right with raised brick lozenges flanking raised brick west in circle in gables. 4 regular 4 window 1st floor, casements, the two in the gable ends with segemental brick heads, and 6 window ground-floor, pairs of segemental-headed glazing bar sashes in open boxes with extension shelters on ends of gable projections, with 3-light casement window to left of recess and glazed door to right of recess. Toothed brick string arch ground floor of recess. Blank wall of hipped wing with raised end eaves to right, with c1930's extension lying back further to right.
