Shall be amended to:-
House, formerly farmhouse. Core is a late C16 or early Cl7 timber framed lobby entrance house on a site occupied at least since the C15 with large C20 additions and mainly C20 refenestration. Exterior mainly painted brick but some exposed framing, tiled roof with brick chimney stacks. Complex almost U-shaped plan of which the north western part is the original house. North west front was the original entrance front before the C20. 2 storeys 2 windows. 2 C19 gables and 3 light cambered casements. Original doorcase between these now blocked in. central massive tall early C17 multiflued ribbed brick chimney stack. the south western bay is a C20 lounge addition. The north east front is now the entrance front. Right side has original end gable with exposed framing including one 3-light early Cl7 casement with wooden ovolo-moulded mullions and leaded lights (a rare survival). 1st floor has 3 C20 casements. Ground floor has 5 casement mainly C20 but to the left of the doorcase is an early C19 3 light casement with headed lights and some panes of old glass. Doorcase of c1920 with 4-centred arched plank door and wooden weatherhood on brackets. North eastern-most past is a C20 addition. South western front comprises original building to west and C20 additions to east. 1 section of exposed box framing to east of C20 gable. 1 irregular fenestration, all C20 casements some of which have decoration catches. Projecting C20 gable to left with C20 4-centred arched plank door in angle. South east elevation is entirely C20. Interior has exposed wall framing with midrail to ground floor, 3 plank doors, dining room with chamfered spine beam with run out stops and lounge with 2 inch chamfered spine beam with run out stop strengthened by steel girder. 1st floor displayed more of the frame, including jowled posts, curved midrail and wall frame with mid rail. Guest room contains early Cl7 4-centred arched brick fireplace.

Cl7, C19, C20. Timber-framed house of 2 storeys, with later cladding: 2 windows. Red tile roof with 2 large (Victorian) gables, shafted stack. Painted brickwork, timber-framed gable. Casements. Modern entrance and rear extensions.
