Details
BUCKLAND - SP 03 NE 2/1 Leasow House (formerly listed as Laverton 4.7.60 Meadow Farmhouse) II Former farmhouse, now house. Late C17 or early C18, porch early C19, window glazing and opening lights late C20. Coursed, roughly squared stone, stone slate roof. Three-window front, one-room deep, L-plan, 2 1/2 storeys. Ground floor front, plinth, central fully glazed door, rectangular light over, under porch, tent-shaped lead roof, wrought-iron frame. Four-light mullioned window each side, king mullion; moulded string course acts as hoodmould, steps up over door. First floor 2-light mullioned window centre, 3-light either side, moulded string course just below eaves acts as hoodmould. Parapet gables, gable chimneys, ashlar, moulded string and caps. Three gabled dormers, each with 2-light casement. String courses do not return on gables.
