House in row. C16 and C17. Coursed squared limestone rubble, stone slate or
concrete tile roofs. An L-plan structure with gabled wing brought forward to
street, and set forward from adjoining properties; through passage. To street
is gable to left, 2 storeys and attic; ground floor has C19 or C20 three-light
flush chamfer-mullion casement, first floor 3-light recessed, chamfer mullion to
stopped hood, and attic 2-light the same to hood mould across gable which has
coping and cross-roll saddle. Large flush quoins. Right return has large
stack, and 2-light under single light C19 or C20 window and a 4-centred C16
chamfered doorway to glazed door. Wing to right has similar C16 doorway to
through-passage, then large garage door and a recessed glazed door, all set
under a continuous hood mould; at first floor are 2-light and 4-light recessed
chamfer-mullion casements to stopped hoods; 2-light gabled casement dormer with
small-scale Gothick leading; other windows are plain rectangular leaded. Small
concrete block stack, right. Back has various mullioned casements including
two C20 at first floor. Interior has large open stone fireplace to peaked top
in front left bedroom; good wood bressumer fireplace to chamfered stone cheeks,
spiral stair by side of this. Roof of left half is heavy two flush purlin.
