Town house in row, c1740, internally refitted c1830. In use as a shop at the time of listing. Coursed and square limestone, partially roughcast rendered; rendered chimneys; stone slate roof, concrete tile to rear. Two-storey with cellar and attic; double pile plan.
Front: five-window fenestration, irregularly spaced and at angles due to settlement. Central segmental arched doorway with six-panel door. Two 20-pane sashes to left, two 15-pane to right, all with timber surrounds incorporating lozenge above window; 12-pane segmental arched upper floor sashes with plain sill band, all with thick glazing bars. Cut down gable end chimneys to front range.
Rear: mixture of segmental arched casements and sashes, part of elevation projecting slightly with angled wall. Attached shed is not of special interest.
Interior: timber fireplaces to principal rooms with enriched cornices. Doorways with reeded architraves and thin cornices. Stone vaulted cellar with small ashlar lock-up in one corner.
