6/358 Barn aproximately 50m east of Owlpen Manor 23.6.52 GV II

Barn, partly converted to estate office. Late C15. Random rubble limestone stone slate roof. Five-bay barn with south porch. Off- centre porch has blocked doorway with casement inserted; slit opening with perch in gable apex. West side of porch altered by insertion of glazed entrance; hipped roof dormer. Garage doors inserted in west end with hipped hood over; timber cross window above. Interior: arched braced collars with projecting key- pieces to raised cruck truss roof. Two rows of purlins and much original timberwork. Recess for cider mill in centre of floor. Very large wooden cider press stands in one corner, this having wooden screw. (N.W.
