Large farmhouse. Early C17 with early C19 additions. Mainly timber framed but rendered over; additions in brick also rendered; brick chimneys, some rendered; interlocking tile roof, clay plain- tile on dairy wing, Welsh slate to lean-to roofs. Lobby entry 2- room house of 2 storeys and attic with additional 2-storey porches; single-room 2-storey addition to east; projecting dairy wing with attic over. Front: original house to right with central 2-storey porch and single-window flanking fenestration; 4-panel c19 door in glazed surround with 9-pane sash over in porch; other sashes are 16-pane to ground floor with narrower 16 pane above, all with simple filleted architraves; further left 6-panel partially glazed door with top light and attached pitched roof porch; narrow 16-pane sash over; brick ridge-mounted chimney stack axial to original entrance. Dairy projects forward to left: C19 fenestration, loft window in gable end, and cambered-arched small-paned fixed-light in further gabled single-storey projection. 2-storey rectangular bay added to west gable end in C19 with lean-to roof but altered fenestration; small attic casement above. Back: C20 projection 2- storey flat-roofed porch with C19 sashes to right and scattered altered fenestration to left; 1 early C19 sash; sloping rendered buttress to west end. Interior shows evidence of much concealed timber framing; in one room chamfered beam with bar stop and large blocked bread oven and fireplace.
