Former detached house, now public house with attached shop. Mid- late C17: C18 addition. Random and coursed rubble limestone; brick chimneys; stone slate roof, plain tile to rear slopes. Two- storey with attic at ends, single-storey with attic at centre; single-storey shop at north west end. Front: 3 gables. Single- window fenestration beneath each gable, mostly 2 and 3-light chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, recessed chamfered below right gable; timber casements with timber lintels at centre. Two doorways with timber lintels and plank doors. Brick-rebuilt chimney at north west gable end of public house. Shop to right has single fixed shop window with glazing bars and doorway with timber lintel and plank door to right. North west end: single fixed shop window as to front. Rear: altered with long C20 flat-roofed dormer. Small single-storey projecting wing.
