Details
ARLINGHAM ARLINGHAM VILLAGE SO 71 SW 2/5 The Red Lion II Inn on corner site. Probably C17, with C19 fenestration. Roughcast faced on plinth, with partial plat band to front, tile roof hipped to corner, rendered stacks, one cut back at hip. L- plan, 2 storeys. Four windows, 1 plus 3, 16-pane sashes. C20 plank door with gabled porch hood between bays 2 and 3 from left. Left hand return has 2 bays to left, 12-pane sashes to first floor (4 over 8), 16-pane to ground floor and low central cellar entrance. To right hand side of front small coach house with arched entrance and slate roof. Interior mostly altered. In prominent position on corner of main cross roads in village.
