Row of 4 estate cottages. Early C19. Coursed squared and
dressed limestone. Stone slate roof. One C19 ashlar stack all
other stacks on ashlar plinths but restored in dressed stone C20.
Long rectangular plan with later extensions to rear. 1½ storeys.
Symmetrical 2-windowed facades to each cottage. Eight half
dormers with 2-light stone-mullioned casements to first floor.
Similar casements to ground floor but with stopped hoods. Two-
light casement with stopped hood at right gable end, at first floor
level. Four half dormers to first floor at rear. Three C20
part-glazed and one C19 plank door. Canopies with moulded margins
and hipped upper-capping stones, supported by moulded stone
brackets above each door. Stacks at gable ends and axial stacks.
Flat coping to gable ends and dormers at front. Moulded kneelers.
