II
Former mill and miller's house. House mid-late C18; mill converted c1938; extended c1938. Coursed squared and roughly dressed limestone; stone slate and artificial stone slate roofing; artificial stone stacks. Rectangular C18 range with converted mill building at the east gable end; small extension parallel to main body, linked at first floor level to the south-east corner; c1938 extension at right angles to C18 range rear left. House and converted mill: 2 storeys and attic. Five-windowed facade to the C18 range and the converted mill respectively. Twelve-pane sashes with plain architraves and sills to the C18 range. The sills to the first floor windows are continued to form a band. Single- light, 2 and 3-light early C20 stone-mullioned casements with leaded panes and hoodmoulds (some with stops) to the converted mill. Two 2-light slate-hung eaves dormers to the attics of both ranges. Large Cotswold dormer with a 4-light stone-mullioned casement to the converted range. C20 plank door with fillets off- centre right with a moulded, dressed stone surround, with a gabled stone-built porch with a moulded Tudor-arched entrance. Similar fenestration to the extension at the south-east corner. C20 extension at rear in Cotswold style. Gable-end and axial stacks. Half-hipped roof to extension at the south-east corner. Interior not inspected.
