GV II

One of two cottages (q.v. No 2). Early-mid C17. Limestone rubble;
stone slate roof; stacks restored C20 in roughly squared and
dressed stone. Rectangular plan. C20 extension to rear, not of
special interest. 1 1/2 storeys. Entrance (north) front with gablet
upper left; Cotswold dormer to the right. One 2-light and one 3-
light metal casement to the ground floor, both C19 with timber
lintels; leaded panes to the 3-light casement, similar 2-light
metal casement (partly with leaded panes) to the gablet; 2-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with leaded panes and a
stopped hood to the dormer. Central fielded 4-panel door with a
timber lintel. Two cross-ended tie plates. Semi-circular
projecting stack (probably formerly with a circular shaft) at the
left gable end; single axial stacks. Interior altered C20.
