17/174 Glebe Farm House
II
Former farmhouse. Early C18. Limestone rubble; red tile roof;
one squared and dressed stone stack, another restored C20 in
imitation ashlar. Rectangular plan with later garage extension to
the north-west gable end. Two storeys and attic with 1 1/2 storey
extension. Three-windowed facade lit mostly by 2 and 3-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, one matching C20
casement set within the blocking of a former doorway; flat-
chamfered casements to the far right-hand bay. C19 plank door with
single large glazed pane at top off-centre left with timber lintel;
boot scraper to the left of the door. All casements with
horizontal glazing bars. Two segmental-headed 2-light roof dormers
covered with sheet metal. Sliding double door to extension.
Shuttered window above with a long timber lintel. Gable-end
stacks. Interior not inspected.
