GV II

Stable block, probably built 1694 at the same time as the Rectory (q.v.). Limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; brick stack. Rectangular plan. Two-storey, 4-windowed south front. Four ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned casements to the ground floor (one with the mullion removed). Central double doorway within a cambered arch. C19 plank doors with flat-chamfered dressed stone surround at the centre. One ovolo-moulded stone- mullioned casement to the first floor; two 2-light and one 3-light C20 stone-mullioned casements in addition. Hipped roof with central slate-hung ventilation/pigeon access with pyramidal roof and finial. Interior not inspected.
