Detached house. Mid C17 with plaque with inscription 'THIS HOUSE / Rep(?)ayd) by Eliz / S - ngers ?(17)73' over the entrance porch; plaque below the former with the inscription 'This house was restored 1936'. Extension dated and initialled 'ERWR/AGR/1836'. Limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; stacks repaired in ashlar C20. Rectangular plan with an extension in Cotswold style dated 1936 to the north gable end. C20 extensions to rear, not of special interest. Two storeys and attic with single-storey extension. Four-windowed garden front lit by single-light, 3 and 4-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with hollow chamfers to the ground floor (both single- light casements C20). C19 plank door off-centre right with 2 glazed panes at the top, within a C20 gabled timber-framed porch with two timber uprights; two 2-light hipped roof dormers. Gable- end stacks. Interior not inspected.
