5/83 Iveson Cottage
GV II
Single small cottage enlarged to two in C19, now one detached
cottage. Early/mid C18. Rubble stone, stone slate roof to front,
artificial stone slates to rear, C19 grouped diagonally set brick
flues to left end and towards right adjacent to slightly raised
roof line of end bay. Single range with rear extension, single
storey and attic. Main section symmetrical with 2 small gabled
dormers on eaves with boarded gables. Two-light Yorkshire sliding
sashes with timber lintel on ground floor flanking central half-
glazed door with raking porch hood on brackets. Right hand bay has
one similar dormer, plank door to left and 2-light casement to
right, both with timber lintel.
