GV II
Inn. Datestone "MV 1693" over former carriage entrance, now main doorway. Coursed and tooled stone with quoins, Cotswold stone slate roof, 2 large stone end stacks each with 2 diagonally set brick flues. Long range with rear extensions round yard and 3 steep-pitched gables all coped in triangular section coping, with square finials. 3 storeys. 3 windows, wood mullion and transom casements with continuous dripmould on 1st floor. Ground floor has 5 similar windows and off centre basket-arch entrance with keystone and dressed stone voussoirs and architrave, with continuous dripmould raised into square over arch. Gables have blocked oval windows, to centre and right with small piece of moulded architrave. 2nd floor has 3 wood mullion and transom casements with square stone hoodmoulds. Offset just above ground level graduated to allow for slope downhill.
