Manor house. Built C16 by Stratford family, substantially altered
and extended C20. Coursed squared and dressed limestone,
limestone slate roof with limestone gable coping and ashlar stacks.
Rectangular main body formerly with facade of 3 Cotswold gables now
at rear and obscured by C20 extensions. Symmetrical garden
front. 2-storeys and attic lit by central Cotswold dormer. 4-
windowed; 2 and 4-light stone-mullioned casements with leaded
lights and stopped hoods; several C20 replacements. Central
stable type door with thumb latch in plain flat-chamfered surround.
C20 lead drain pipes and decorative heraldic shields. Phoenix
insurance plaque on right wall towards rear. 3 step mounting block
against house wall rear right. Slightly stepped gable coping with
roll-cross saddles. Twin ashlar stacks with moulded caps from
former left and right gable ends at rear of main body.
