Formerly several cottages, now one large cottage with gable end to
street and shop in cottage along street to south. Probably late
C17/early C18. Rubble stone with flush quoins, concrete tile roof,
stone end stack. Main cottage of 2 storeys and attic, with wing
behind and adjoining shop of 2 storeys. Additional semi-derelict
cottage adjoining on west side not of special interest. Main front
to north has 3-light stone mullion with square houdmould to both
floors on left side and gabled dormer with boarded gable and C20
two-light above. On right side, former lean-to has been cut into
to provide additional new 3-light stone mullion on first floor.
Street facade has 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould on
first floor of rear wing of main cottage, inserted single light
below. Cottage to left contains shop front of C20 on ground floor
and two small 2-light wood casements below eaves.
