Farmhouse. Late C18. Coursed rubble stone with alternating flush
quoins, stone slate roof on outer pitches, concrete tiles on inner
pitches, stone end stacks with offset and moulded cornice to front
range, stone end stack to right of rear range, brick to left and
brick end stacks to both ranges of left hand wing. Double range of
2 storeys and attic, with smaller double range wing to left in
rubble stone of 2 storeys. Two windows to main range, triple
sashes with wood mullions in flush quoin surround with large flush
stone lintels, to first and ground floors Two small hipped dormers
with paired wooden casements. Rear facade has 2 hipped porch
canopies each supported on 2 square tapering stone columns, with
C20 door to each. Side wing to left has paired 6-pane wooden
casements with timber lintel to each floor. Stone projecting porch
of C20 on left hand return. Part of a tightly-knit and well
preserved group with barn (q.v.) and stable block (q.v.).
