6/126 Nos 3 and 4 Trull Cottages
II
Formerly row of 4 cottages, converted to two. Early C19. Coursed
and dressed stone in decreasing courses, with quoins, stone slate
roof to front, concrete tiles to rear, central stone ridge stack
and small stone end stacks. Single long range with rear outshut
with catslide to No 3 and rear wing to end of No 4. Two storeys.
Eight windows, arranged as 1/2/1 to each cottage, with flush stone
pointed arch frames and single leaded iron casement. Ground floor
originally similar but now with additional similar but larger
windows in 3 of the 4 original doorways. Doorway to No 3 on far
right still exists, with flat stone hood on brackets and full
length wooden shutters to front of doorway and C20 glazed door
recessed. Access to No 4 on left hand return in rear wing with
straight headed stone opening and plank door.
