Two houses. Early-mid C17; late C18 addition. Coursed rubble
limestone to Fields House, random rubble to Green Cottage; ashlar
chimneys; stone slate roof, concrete tile to rear. Fields House:
2-storey with attic, L-plan. Green Cottage: 2-storey addition to
west end. North front: single-window fenestration to Fields
House, both 3-light ovolo moulded mullioned casements with
hoodmoulds; doorway to right with timber lintel and plank door.
Mixed fenestration to Green Cottage to right: 2-light chamfered
mullioned ground floor casement; upper floor timber casement below
eaves. East end: single window fenestration to gable end, all
ovolo moulded with hoodmoulds, 3-light to ground floor, 2-light to
upper floor, single attic light. Two blocked cellar single-
lights. Two small single-light casements in side of rear wing to
left. C20 gabled porch addition is not of special interest.
Paired ridge-mounted chimney with moulded caps. Mullioned
fenestration to gable end of rear wing. Interiors not inspected.
