House, at one time 2 dwellings. Late C17, altered 1929. Timber frame,
roughcast. Steeply pitched tiled roof swept out at eaves. 3 bays, now
lobby entry. 1 storey and attic. Entrance to left of centre with C20
gabled hood. Flanking 3 light and to right a 2 light casement, all small
panes with 4 centred arched heads to each light. Axial ridge stack
behind entrance, part rebuilt with a vertical triangulated fillet. Right
end exposed plates and purlins, a 2 light casement in an early C20
angled projection. To rear left an early C20 lean-to outshut. Shallow
roof pitch to rear left with cross casement in return. Interior not
inspected. Included for group value. (RCHM 1910: VCH 1912:
