II
Detached house; mid C17, early C19; timber-framed with brick nogging or white-painted render, thatched roof, extension white- painted brickwork, tiled roof. Two-bay building, 1½ storeys, extended 1 bay on left, 2 storeys. Framing 2-panel high to ground floor. On right square bay, 3-light casement window, lean-to tiled roof. To left 3-light casement window, frame applied to wall, tiled lean-to roof; boarded door beyond. Above two 2-light casement windows with leaded lights in dormers, thatch swept over. Brick gable chimney projects from right return, top tapers inwards; roof half-hipped on right. Left extension 3-light casement window each floor, leaded lights, cambered brick arches, dentil eaves. Large brick chimney on left gable: third behind ridge at right of extension. Single-storey garage extension on right, not of special interest.
