13/203 Thurston monument, in the churchyard about 2m east of south-east corner of porch, Church of St. James
GV II
Chest tomb. Mary Thurston, died 1759. Stone. Flat lid, moulded edge, remains of rococo carving on south side, originally with head in top centre: north side raised rectangular panel with scalloped corners. Tall, quarter square corner balusters, leaf decoration to stem. East end as north side, west rococo decoration. Simply-moulded base. Sides weathering.
