Farmhouse. Early C17 with C18 and early C19 additions and alterations. Sandstone rubble with C20 slate roof. Rectangular plan aligned north-east/ south-west with later addition extending to north-west at south-west end, forming L-plan, further lean-to addition to part of south-east front to right of through-passage backed by main axial stack, further secondary entry in later addition. Two storeys and attics; south-east front: three windows, two 2-light C20 casements and one 4-pane window on ground floor, one 3-light ovolo-moulded wooden mullioned window and similar 5-light mullioned and transomed window to left of lean-to porch with inner chamfered wooden framed doorway and battened door, later lean-to to right. Traces of further mullioned windows to north-west front. Interior: stone winder staircase integral with stack has wooden treads, plank-and-muntin panelled partition in main room with segmental-headed doorway and battened door.
