Details
TRING MANSION DRIVE SP 9211 (East side) 11/88 Lamp post at - entrance to drive GV II Lamp post. Later C19 for Rothschild Estate. Oak post with wrought iron standard and brackets. Mounted on a chamfered square oak post about 2m high a lamp standard about 1½ m higher supporting an ogee copper cap with glass dome below. Elaborate scroll work on 4 sides of stand and both supporting cap and clasping head of post. Long ornamental iron straps with studs run down faces of post with base loops, and separate scrolled parellel ladder-stay projects on W side with loop at base.
