Former watermill and miller's house. 1819 according to datestone with initials R.C. (Ralph Caldwell?). Colourwashed brick; miller's house flint with brick dressings; slate and pantile roof. Long rectangle in plan, the miller's house occupying the westernmost bay. 2 storeys with attic and 11 bays of 2-light casement windows beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits. Several windows blind or boarded over. One raised and fielded panelled door. Weatherboarded lucam with 2 boarded doors beneath. Second lucam to east. Rear facade with scattered fenestration, one gabled dormer and 2 sloping dormers. Dentil cornices and axial stack to miller's house. Single storey stable wing to north. Machinery complete, including a cast iron waterwheel (paddles missing), a pit wheel, wallower, stone nuts, tentering gear and governors at ground floor. First floor with 3 sets of stones in place with casings and hoppers in tact. Roof with bins, chutes and screening machines. Hilborough Hall Estate.
