Former farmhouse. C16 and later.
Rendered timber frame replaced with brick to south. Pantile roof. Vestigial screens passage plan with former opposed entrances. One and a half storeys. South facade has 3 bays of 2-light C19 casement windows with apparent wooden lintels and rectangular hood moulds to ground floor. Off-centre C20 glazed door in original position beneath a C19 gabled hood on curved brackets. North facade has 3 bays of 3-light casements and a modern door opposite an off-centre axial stack. C19 gabled hood on curved brackets and with shaped barge boards. Added gable-end.stack to west.
Interior. Elaborately moulded re-used bridging joists with chamfered joists in hall. Pair of re-set service doors with 4-centred heads. 4-centred head to former north door. Fine queen post roof truss with cambered tie and arched braces.
