SANDWELL MB BIRMINGHAM CANAL SO 98 NE Birmingham Level 8/9 Footbridge over New Main Line at Bromford Junction, 20m 30.3.87 South of Bottom Lock, Spon Lane Locks

Footbridge over the New Main Line (Birmingham Level) of the Birmingham Canal at its junction with the Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level). 1848. Cast- iron with brick abutments. Single segmental arch. Lattice sides bolted together in three sections. The central section is inscribed: "THE HORSELEY COMPANY TIPTON 1848".
