Former stable block now commercial premises with separate
domestic accommodation over. Circa 1752 altered in early C19.
Red brick with red tiled gabled roof, 2-storeys and attic former
stable block to No15, with gable end to street and main frontage
facing W. Elaborate symmetrical 6-window front with 2-window
centre breaking forward. Low plinth, projecting floor band and
eaves band with brick dentil course. Walls carried 12 courses
higher in red brick in early C19 when the roof was raised and the
front gable rebuilt with a circular window with radial glazing.
Giant eliptical gauged brick arch with key block, springing off
the floorband as impost, occupied the lower part of the central
projection and is flanked by wide round headed gauged arches to
openings each side. Round-arched 1st floor doorways at each end.
Square windows with flat gauged arches, 2-light casements and
stone sills. Street front has 2 similar tall arched panels each
with a square window over. Arched head infilled and painted
white. 4-panel moulded door in screen with lozenge paned
fanlight over in W opening. Large recessed sash window with 8/8
panes and brick apron in E opening. W side partly covered by
lean-to and door openings bricked up for windows. External
gabled door to attic level at SW.
