GV II
House; C18; divided and refronted in the early C19. Timber-framed and roughcast; plaintiled roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics. No.34 has one tripartite sash window to each storey, the central window 12-pane, in a flush cased frame. A segmental-headed dormer with a 2-light small-paned window. The entrance door, up one step, has 6 raised fielded panels and a rectangular fanlight with glazing-bars in lozenge form; a plain wooden surround with a flat pediment over. No.35 has 2 sash windows to the upper storey, one narrow, with 8 panes, the other 12-pane, both in flush cased frames. A similar 12-pane sash to the ground storey. Door up one step, with curved cast-iron handrails, has 6 raised fielded panels, a wood doorcase with plain reveals and a flat pediment. INTERIOR: access to No.34 not possible. No.35 has a restored interior with no original features exposed.
