GV II House. c1700, altered mid-C19. Brick with tile roof. Two storeys. Upper storey painted black and white, above brick string course, to resemble timber-framing. A number of former openings have been blocked and the present spacing of the windows is not completely regular. There are blocked windows between the first and second bays, between the fifth and sixth bays, and between the seventh and eighth bays. The sixth and eighth bays have blocked windows on the ground floor. The present windows mainly have timber mullions and transoms with glazing bars. Main door in fourth bay under timber lattice porch. Second door in seventh bay with segmental head. Chimneys on gables and to right of second bay. The rear and left-hand return walls incorporate part of the limestone curtain wall of the previous Rushall Hall (qv). Interior: the main doorway now opens into a two-storey entrance hall with balcony and stair, created in the C19. The kitchen, to the right of the hall, has a large plastered inglenook and two boxed ceiling beams. At the right-hand end of the house are exposed chamfered beams, including one on each floor about one metre from the gable wall.
