Public house. Early to mid-C19. Painted brick with felted slate roof.
Two storeys, three bays, with further ground floor window to right: The
two ground floor windows to the right of the door have lintels with
horizontal reeding, paterae, and bracketed cornices. The left hand bay
has a wide shop front on the ground floor, flanked by pilasters and with
a window and door. The middle first floor window is covered by a sign
board. The doorway, in the middle bay, has a doorcase with paterae above
pilasters, an overlight, and panelled reveals. Eaves cornice and blocking
course. Chimneys at left, set forward of the ridge, and in line with third
bay.
